Happy Monday!

Oh what a weekend! I started my Friday with an early morning spin class. I have decided that I enjoy early morning work outs. What a great way to start a day! During the winter, I can talk myself out of any evening workout in about five minutes. It is dark and cold and I want to lay on the couch and watch bad reality television.

The rest of my Friday was just as terrific. I was able to leave work a little early and what do I find outside my building when I get home? The Flirty Cupcake van! Unfortunately, I work in the unfortunate suburbs and I do not get to take advantage of the plethora of food trucks! My friend Fiona and I complain about this daily around lunch time when we are subjected to gross chain fast food choices. I torture myself by ‘liking’ these mobile business on facebook and I can see what the daily menu is. Friday was my lucky day! Rich worked from home so he was able to sample the heavenly sweets with me!

After our five minutes in red velvet bliss, we headed to another obsession of mine, Lululemon. I am not proud of my problem I have for this store, so I will make this quick. A few weeks ago, I got a random visa gift card in the mail. I have no idea how I got it, but I wanted to spend it before they could take it away. :)  Where else do I go with free money? Rich and I both got a new jacket. I was feeling generous and I want him to be as obsessed with this place as I am.

My evening was finished off with a bottle of wine on the couch. What else can a girl as for?

Saturday was quite the busy day! After a quick work out, I spend the day with my girlfriends moseying the streets of Chicago looking for the perfect bridesmaid dress for Rachel’s wedding. My evening was spent with my good friends Steve and Stephanie at Andie’s in Andersonville. Nothing is better than sharing a good meal with friends.

And a wretched football game summed up my weekend. At least we had great seats and I was happy to take my dad.
