There will always be someone faster than me and there will always be someone slower than me.... hopefully!! With this being said, the Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle is coming too quickly! This race is the kick off to the Chicago running season and it usually means warmer weather is right around the corner! Lets just hope I am not being picked up by the bus! Although I do have a rather bright ensemble to wear!
My goals this summer are to:
1. HAVE FUN!
2. Finish my first marathon
3. Meet new friends
4. Have fun!
What are your summer goals? I encourage everyone this year to try a 5K. It can be a walk, run or a run/walk! Visit a local running store and ask for information about upcoming 5Ks. Most might even have a couch to 5K program (or learn to run program) that you can sign up for!
I would be willing to walk a 5K with you in Geneva or the tri cities area sometime, I would love to be able to run again too!! Have fun and stay strong till the finish:)
