NO Pack NO!

I think I hate the Packers more than I hate snow right now. Although I did win $20 in a pool! Yesterday’s game was one of the strangest games to watch. We all watched the game like a bung of girls who could care less about what’s happening. We chit chatted during the game, intensely watched the commercials, had a running commentary through the half time show and ate a ton of food! I didn’t want to snap pictures because we were at a friend’s house and Rich is easily embarrassed. Someone brought vegetarian chili and for some extra flavor and texture, she added butternut squash! It was so good, I will be adding squash in as a permanent chili fixture from now on.

Chicago had a hard week and I am waiting patiently for the snow to melt and I can’t wait to see more faces on the path.... including mine! In a few weeks, I am going to start training for the Indy Mini half marathon in Indianapolis. I signed up for the race last year without knowing my little sister graduated the same day! Oopsie.

With training around the corner, I need to get on the exercise wagon! Right now, I am not very interested in running in the winter wonderland. Is the lakefront path even clear? So my butt has been at the gym. I force fed myself one run on the dreadmill last week and that did me in. People who can crank out runs on the treadmill are my heros. Tonight is Monday night kickboxing. Our instructor is a serious boxer and knows how a cardio class should be run!

Because I don’t have any pictures to post, I’ll put a few from the archives. Of course, all summer photos of some of my favorite activities!

My sister and I playing tourist. We are dorks.
I miss being tan and normal looking. Luckily, I only have 18 days to pity party about it and I'll be sailing on a cruise for my birthday!

Happy Monday Everyone!!
