Tory, Rick and Saturday!

This morning I had an eye doctor appointment. I love getting new glasses and today I had the brilliant idea of getting prescription sunglasses! I have to use my flex spending account on something, right? I go to the Eye Appeal downtown. I cannot say enough about this place.. LOVE IT! They are so nice and so helpful. For people who have chronic phobias of all types of doctors (me), it is hard to find a place who make you feel at ease. I carried on an easy conversation with the adorable Dr. Kaori Asano while she examined my eyes. After my appointment, the receptionist helped me with some new specs! He knew exactly what would be flattering and he easily chose a pair of cute tortoise shell Tory Burch frames.

Then as I  ogled at the wall of sunglasses he whipped out a pair of aviators. I love aviators but have never found a pair that works with my pea sized face. I was skeptical but as soon as I tried them on, I was in love! And guess what? Tory Burch! He must get commission. I can't wait the 5-7 days to go pick them up!!!

After my appointment we walked across the street to Fields  Macys.  I love wondering around with Rich and aimlessly looking at things we don't need. We can spend hours being silly and we love having nothing to do but enjoy each other. After a few hours, we worked up quite an appetite! On the seventh floor of the store, there is an array of food options including a Frontera Fresca. Rick Bayless was there checking up on things. If you ever want to see a local celebrity, Rick is always at his restaurants! I'm not a huge fan of him as a person, but he can make some fabulous tortas!

Yum yum! Tortas, aqua de dia with chips and guac is the perfect lunch on the town! 

With very full belly's we made our way home just in time to watch the snow show! FINALLY, the snow is being removed from our building! I can use my car! What a good day!
